Koné Motion Handpan Immersion Day

During the Koné Motion Handpan Immersion Day, Belgian handpan artist Koné Moerman invites you to spend a full day immersed in the world of the handpan: first learning to play it yourself, and then experiencing the instrument in concert.

The day begins with an accessible handpan workshop for beginners. No previous musical experience is required. Step by step, you will learn how to create sound from the instrument, play simple rhythms, build melodies, and find your first musical flow together with the group. The workshop is approachable, gradually structured, and focused on experience, enjoyment, and musicality.

The workshop consists of two 90-minute sessions with a break in between. There will be time for explanation, practice, playing together, and personal guidance. The group is intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 15 participants.
